This is a typical bedtime at our house. Sarah and I pile up in the bed first and read about 6 or 7 books. Seriously . 6 or 7! Every night! Then, we go brush teeth, etc. and climb back in bed. Jason comes in to tell her goodnight and they laugh and act silly and then I make him get out of her room so she can go to sleep. She says her sweet prayers and then off to dreamland she goes. Jason follows with his reading and prayers, etc. This particular night, I took photos of how cute they were together. Sarah was howling at Jason's acts of complete silliness! I love the look of sheer joy in their eyes!
I am a 33 year old stay at home mom who loves to find creative ways to entertain and teach my 2 kiddos! I am also a freelance photographer and LOVE photo editing and making collages! I recently launched a support group for Families of Congential Heart Disease, Heart Strings! I have been married to Todd for 12 years and have Jason, 10 years old and Sarah, 5 years old. Sarah has congential heart disease and will be having her 6th operation any day now! (3 caths, 3 open hearts) She is a miracle to our family and we are so thankful to have her! Jason is our little "rockstar!" He plays guitar (very well) and is growing every day! I am so thankful that God has trusted us to raise these two children and I hope we are doing as he would want. We are Southside Baptist people! We love our church and our church family is AWESOME!
