Sarah's Birthday Party....Finally Posting!!!

Finally, I am posting Sarah's party pics from Saturday! She had a wonderful time! We had planned it for outside, but the weather changed our minds so we moved it into our dining room. The house was crowded, but it was still fun and cute! We had a "Wild Child Tea Party" and Sarah LOVED it!

See....I promise I would get nothing done if I went to bed at a decent hour! I was making chocolate covered marshmallow sticks at 2 a.m.! LOL But they were SO cute and a big hit at the party!!!

Below are several photos of the decorations.....I stayed up most of the night putting the finishing touches on the party! Thanks to my friend, Tanna, Sarah had the cutest cupcakes for her party! Miss Tanna made them for us and they were DELICIOUS! These roses are made of wood! I thought they were so cool!

I made Sarah's cabbage patch doll a matching tutu dress to wear at the party as Sarah requested! I though this turned out really cute! These are photos of guests arriving and Sarah waiting for them to get there! It was so sweet seeing all the little girls all dressed up for a tea party!

We played "Pin the Spout on the Tea Pot"! It was so funny and cute!

Jason only felt a little out of place at the tea party! He had friends there, too, so it was fun for him!

Well, I got it back to normal within 2 hours after the party, so I guess it was a success! :)

The Tutu Fairy

Okay, so many of you ask how I get it all done! I make about 10 costumes a week and ship them all over the country! I take care of a nearly four year old and a nine year old and cook dinner every night. Somewhere in there, I manage to shower and play with both children and read at least 20 minutes every day! Whew........just typing that made me tired. But it is 3:29 a.m. as I type this useless and pointless post! Just thought you'd like to see what the house looks like when everyone else is snuggled down sleeping. About 2 nights every week, I stay up until around 4 a.m. making these tutus and costumes. This is what my little sweat shop looks like while I'm working. But....as I line them up along the wall with tags for shipping, etc. ....I feel great accomplishment! I feel better knowing that with every costume, some little girl somewhere is going to feel like the most special little girl in the world for either a birthday, Halloween or Christmas.............and that makes it ALL worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!





This is a set I made for Sarah's cabbage patch doll for her birthday party. Sarah had the same outfit and they looked so cute. I'll be posting photos from the birthday party tomorrow! :)
