Well, we made the mistake of telling Sarah that she was going to see her Mimi & Pop today! ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL day has been........."gotta get dressed.....we goin to mimi's house now?.........i want to go to my mimi's house RIGHT NOW!" She's getting demanding in her old age! haha Well....she finally went to play in her room and when she came out, this is what she was wearing.....her red dress that she yanked down out of the closet and her black boots! She said "I ready now.....I look Pretty!" and Todd & I nearly died laughing! She went to stand by the door and wait for us........we're still a few hours away from leaving so she decided to lay down.

When you let her go play in her room and she shuts the door, you never know what will be waiting for you when you open it. Yesterday, she had stipped all the blankets and sheets off her bed. When I saw it, I said "You've made a mess in here, I see" and she said......."I NOT I SEE, I'M SARAH KATE!" haha

Quiet Baths are SOOOO Overrated!

Well, so on my "list of what's hot with mommy right now" I listed "Uninterrupted baths". Well, I got one last night...but there's more! We had a pretty quiet evening. The kids played, we ate dinner, got them bathed and ready for bed, in the bed, checked my email....pretty normal. Then something wierd happened after about 9:30...NOBODY got up asking for more water or having to pee! Todd had his shower and went ahead to bed. I decided this was a great time to take a bubble bath! SO, I pour myself a big hot tub of water, laid back.........and passed out. I fell asleep....in the tub! hahaha When I woke up, I had one of those JUMP out of your skin moments. The water was pretty cool by that point. I climbed in the bed and it was about 10:45! By my calculations, I had been in there about 40 minutes! haha

Good thing nobody was worried about me! I went M.I.A. haha (Missing in Action for those of you who don't know mommy code!)

But then I thought.......hmmmm........maybe it's good when there are people putting their hands under the door and screaming for juice and cookies while I'm trying to bathe! But, I enjoyed my nap, no less!

These are some snapshots I took of Jason with his guitar. He LOVES playing his electric guitar. He can hear a song and then pick it out by himself! His favorite soundtrack is "Cars". His favorite song is "Real Gone" or "Route 66". He is growing up so fast but I am enjoying every stage he goes through. (Except the backtalking one which I understand will last for approximately 30 more years!)

Hand In Hand

This is a photo I took of Jason & Sarah walking across the bridge at the park the other day. I love seeing them hold hands....not many more years and they won't want anything to do with each other! haha

These photos are from the quick visit I had with my sister and her family last weekend. My three nieces were so much fun! I painted everyones fingers and toes with French Mani-Pedi's! We had a blast playing! Jason & Sarah LOVED seeing their cousins and having a slumber party. We miss them! We don't get to see them very often, so when we do, we try to squeeze in as much fun as possible in short amounts of time! The oldest niece, Savannah, is going to be a famous fashion designer some day! She brought me her book of designs and I couldn't believe some of the sketches! She is only 11 years old and some of the things she drew, I would wear RIGHT NOW! She is truly talented and I know she's going to be someone really amazing when she gets older! Watch out world...."Vannah Designs" is going to take the world by storm! Sydney is the next to the oldest one! She is a doll. She is into playing video games and getting her nails done, too! She's got it all in one package! She had fun playing with Jason & being silly! She's a sweetie! Karlee is the baby girl! Sweet little blonde curls all over her head. She's so much fun. It takes her a few minutes to warm up to me, but as you can see, she's all Aunt Sharon's girl by the night's end! She and Sarah got along great. They are close in age, so that's nice, too! My sister, Cindy and I had such a good time. We love acting silly, too! We're just little girls in adults bodies! haha I had so much fun visiting with them! Hopefully, we'll see them again soon!

These are some pics I took of the kids today at lunch! They were being silly with their food, which I usually get onto them for doing, but this was cute. I made them "wormy boats" for lunch. (cut up strips of bologna and cheese in a hot dog bun) You gotta do what you gotta do to get them to eat, though!

Welcome to the Mommy Files!

Since we've moved out of town and most of our friends and family are 4 hours away now, I created this blog so we can share our life with those close at heart!

I will post photos of the kids and fun stuff we do. I am enjoying staying at home with them! Jason starts school next week and we are looking forward to him meeting some friends and getting back into a more regulated schedule! haha
