We finally got our first update. We were waiting to hear that the lines went in okay and just found out that not only do they already have the lines in but they already got through all the scar tissue (which can take up to 4 hours) and have gotten her on the heart/lung bypass machine!!!
They are starting the procedure now. She is doing GREAT! Everything is Way ahead of schedule and they are thinking they may be done with surgery by 2 or 3 p.m.!
Please pray that she gets off the heart lung bypass okay and that they get the breathing tube out before she comes out of the O/R!
Also, we don't know yet if they did the easy or more complicated procedure. We won't know until the next update in a few hours!
