Once Upon a Time Spa...

Okay...I forgot to post the "spa day" pics of Sarah somehow! BUT, I decided to make it into a little story! Enjoy!


Once upon a time....

There was a beautiful little girl named Princess Sarah who was about to have an operation...

She had a precious hospital gown...because we all know that a true princess needs to look fabulous no matter what! One of the special fairy godmothers worked tirelessly to sew it especially for her from hand-picked fabric!

Her mommy was also desperate to show her a wonderfully, girly time the day before her surgery!

So she planned a very special day....

She made an appointment with a fairy godmother named "Miss Wendy" at a place in the village called "Paradise Salon". Now, Miss Wendy had cut Princess Sarah's hair before when she was a weeeee little baby girl, but never had the princess had such a royal treatment as this!

Miss Wendy washed the little Princess' hair in the real sink. And then put a beautiful flowery drape of satin over her so she wouldn't get dirty. Then, ever so carefully, cut golden tendrils of hair from the ends to give her hair shape and volume! After trimming it so perfectly, Miss Wendy used the magical hair dryer that fluffed the princess' hair to PERFECTION! Then, she sprayed it with a misty spray that held it in place JUST right! How BEAUTIFUL the Princess looked with a new fabulous hairstyle.

After their visit to Paradise....the princess and her mommy returned to their castle in the country. Her mommy had turned their dining quarters into "Once Upon a Time Spa".

She had all of the items necessary to pamper the little princess and make her feel loved and special! This was a very special day, indeed!

There was even a special meal prepared for the princess including royal sandwiches and sparkling flavored waters that she would drink from crystal stemware passed down from the queens in her family years ago. The princess was pleased! She enjoyed getting "the Royal Treatment" and having cucumbers placed on her little eyes.

She even relaxed with a tiny cat nap for a few moments.

She enjoyed the special aroma of facial cleansers and creams that would make her skin glow!

She also enjoyed the parafin wax fountain in which she dipped her tiny feet and hands to make them extra soft!

Even some of her friends came bearing special handmade gifts for her to take with her on her journey the next day!

Then, on the morning of her operation, her knight in shining armor whom she called "Daddy" carried her through the corridors to where she would be taken great care of at a place called "Texas Children's Hospital".


She was treated like royalty...of course....as she waited her turn and played Barbie video games and was ever so patient. Then, they rolled her to surgery and she came back sleeping like Sleeping Beauty! Beary was by her side the whole time! What a great friend! When she woke up....she was surrounded by those who love her most! Her mommy, her daddy & her brother, the Prince.....Jason. She immediately requested some lipgloss upon waking up! She had to get fabulous again!

Once she was finished composing herself and getting back to normal after a few hours....another fairy godmother named Ryan, came to wheel her away to her chariot which awaited her in the parking garage for the journey home. She was so happy to go home to her land of everything girly.

And she left the hospital............

And lived happily ever after!
